Out of Texas!

After two days of skirting storms we are finally out of Texas! I had just said to Roger - "I'm ready for some real scenery" - when we went around a curve (yes, an actual curve in the endless ribbon of a road!) and saw our first glimpse of the snow capped Rocky Mountains! We crossed them at Raton Pass at 7800 ft. Probably the highest altitude of our trip. Have already seen plenty of antelope. Just the beginning!
