Colorado/Wyoming/Montana

Our drive through Colorado was uneventful except Denver is reminiscent of Houston and San Antonio traffic! Like Jeff Foxworthy says - "If the speed limit is 70 mph, you're going 80 and someone passes you - you probably live in Houston!"

If you think driving through west Texas is a long boring trip try driving through Wyoming - no traffic worries here! The ribbon of road is endless! We passed Independence Rock in Cheyenne - a well know landmark on the Oregon Trail that settlers often carved their names on. Apparently, many of them were not impressed with Wyoming either because it is the least populated state in the nation!

The Endless Road
The only wildlife we've seen are cows, horses, antelope and prairie dogs - don't know how "wild" any of them are!

We had dinner with Nicole, our nephew, Kirt's girlfriend, who lives in Billings, MO last night. We've spent time with her at several family gatherings so it was nice to be able to see her as we passed through town. She is on her way to Dallas after the school year ends next week.

I guess art is in the eye of the beholder!
