We came home from the cruise on Sunday, February 1, picked up Samantha & Emily and drove them to San Antonio/Brownsville for a week while Heather accompanied Kyle on a business trip. The week is a "blur" but we had a fun time with them. Samantha (3yrs) says the funniest things and Emily (3mn's)is the sweetest - smiles & coos all the time! We went to the zoo, the beach, rode on the carousel, played at the park, went swimming and generally dropped everything to entertain them. They charmed all the neighbors - who miss their own grandchildren. We flew from Harlingen to Houston Hobby airport yesterday and Heather met us - Samantha was totally nonchalant about flying, not the least bit scared and Emily slept through it all! We turned around and took the next flight back the Harlingen, drove to Brownsville, ate dinner and went to bed!!!!!
Funny Samantha story - I was tucking her into bed one night and she asked me to "pat her back and sing a song" - I asked her what song she wanted me to sing and she thought a minute and said "Mary Had A Little Lamb, Sunshine, and Who Let the Dogs Out!"
